# Australian Leave Calculator > Free Australian leave calculators and plain-English reference guides covering every employee leave entitlement: annual leave, long service leave, personal/carer's leave, parental leave, public holidays, leave loading, redundancy and final pay. Figures are tied to the National Employment Standards (Fair Work Act 2009) and each state's Long Service Leave Act, and kept current for 2026. Key facts for 2026: full-time and part-time employees accrue 4 weeks of annual leave per year (Fair Work Act s.87) and 10 days of combined personal/carer's leave (s.96). Every employee, including casuals, gets 10 days of paid family and domestic violence leave and 2 days of compassionate (bereavement) leave per occasion. Long service leave is set by each state and territory Act, not the NES: full entitlement is usually at 10 years (7 in Victoria and the ACT), with pro-rata payout generally from 7 years. Paid Parental Leave is 24 weeks now, rising to 26 weeks from 1 July 2026. Redundancy pay runs on a sliding scale from 4 weeks at 1 year to 16 weeks at 9 or more years (s.119). The tax and leave rules that apply depend on the employee's award or enterprise agreement on top of the NES floor. ## Calculators - [Annual Leave Calculator](https://www.leavecalculator.au/annual-leave): Accrual, payout, 17.5% loading and cash-out under Fair Work Act s.87 - [Long Service Leave Calculator](https://www.leavecalculator.au/long-service-leave): State-by-state LSL entitlement, pro-rata and payout for all 8 states and territories - [Personal & Carer's Leave Calculator](https://www.leavecalculator.au/personal-leave): 10-day combined sick and carer's leave under s.96 - [Parental Leave Pay Calculator](https://www.leavecalculator.au/parental-leave): Paid Parental Leave and unpaid NES parental leave - [Public Holiday Pay Calculator](https://www.leavecalculator.au/public-holidays): Penalty rates and 2026 holiday calendar by state - [Leave Loading Calculator](https://www.leavecalculator.au/leave-loading): 17.5% annual leave loading and 25% casual loading - [Redundancy Calculator](https://www.leavecalculator.au/redundancy): NES sliding scale and small-business exemption - [Final Pay Calculator](https://www.leavecalculator.au/final-pay): Notice, unused leave payout and LSL on termination ## Long Service Leave - [Portable Long Service Leave](https://www.leavecalculator.au/long-service-leave/portable): Construction-industry portable schemes (LeavePlus, QLeave, MyLeave and more) by state ## Public Holidays - [Public Holidays 2027](https://www.leavecalculator.au/public-holidays/2027): All 2027 public holidays by state and territory - [Long Weekends in Australia](https://www.leavecalculator.au/public-holidays/long-weekends): Every 2026 and 2027 long weekend by state ## Guides - [National Employment Standards](https://www.leavecalculator.au/guides/national-employment-standards): The 11 minimum entitlements every employee gets - [Fair Work Act 2009](https://www.leavecalculator.au/guides/fair-work-act): The federal law behind every leave entitlement - [Modern Awards](https://www.leavecalculator.au/guides/modern-awards): How awards add to the NES and how to find yours - [Compassionate and Bereavement Leave](https://www.leavecalculator.au/guides/compassionate-and-bereavement-leave): 2 days paid per occasion (ss.104-106) - [Family and Domestic Violence Leave](https://www.leavecalculator.au/guides/family-domestic-violence-leave): 10 days paid for all employees (ss.106A-106E) - [Time Off in Lieu, RDOs and Banked Hours](https://www.leavecalculator.au/guides/time-off-in-lieu): How award-based time-off arrangements work - [Other Leave Types](https://www.leavecalculator.au/guides/other-leave-types): Jury duty, community service, unpaid, study and sabbatical leave - [Casual vs Permanent](https://www.leavecalculator.au/guides/casual-vs-permanent): Leave, loading and conversion rights - [Contractor vs Employee](https://www.leavecalculator.au/guides/contractor-vs-employee): The tests that decide your entitlements - [Leave During Probation](https://www.leavecalculator.au/guides/probation-period-leave): Leave accrues from day one ## Reference - [Leave and Employment Glossary](https://www.leavecalculator.au/glossary): Plain-English definitions of every leave and pay term - [Methodology](https://www.leavecalculator.au/methodology): How each calculator works and the legislation it cites - [Sources](https://www.leavecalculator.au/sources): Full bibliography of Acts and Fair Work resources - [Sitemap](https://www.leavecalculator.au/sitemap): Index of every page
